What is Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and how do I use it?
Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) adds another level of security by prompting a user for additional information when accessing a company platform. You may have experienced something similar when banking online.
SIRVA’s initial implementation of MFA will trigger on mobile devices (phones and tablets) when used to access Email, SharePoint, Skype and OneDrive most notably.
To participate you need to enroll in the program.
After Enrollment: How it will work
▪ After username/password authentication, you will be asked to enter a numeric code texted to the mobile phone number you specify at enrollment.
▪ This will happen sometimes but not every time. The controlling token typically lasts for 30 days.
You will enter the code in the text message into the prompt
