Hardware standards impact not only end user operational performance but also have significant impact into the department's capital budgets.
The below table depicts the standard hardware configurations that will be followed this calendar year and reflects the decisions of IT leadership.

In an effort to reduce hardware costs, IT will be expanding their vendors supplying laptop hardware devices to the following manufacturers:
- Microsoft
- Hewlett Packard (HP)
- Dell
- Lenovo
The model of laptop deployed may vary by region and the cost of the unit at the time of purchase.
